Welcome to KUOS Press ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KUOS Press website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Medilinka ApS, a company registered in Denmark with CVR number 44347644, with registered address at Copenhagen, Denmark.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
To access certain features of the Services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
We reserve the right to disable any user account at any time if, in our opinion, you have failed to comply with any provision of these Terms.
KUOS Press provides a platform for discovering, purchasing, and consuming books, journals, magazines, e-books, and audiobooks. We act as both a publisher and a marketplace platform.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, including the availability of any product or content.
All prices are displayed in Danish Kroner (DKK) unless otherwise stated and include VAT where applicable. For consumers within the EU, Danish VAT of 25% is included in the displayed price.
We accept the following payment methods: credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), MobilePay, PayPal, and bank transfer. Payment is processed securely through our payment providers.
Prices are subject to change without notice. However, changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
Business customers (B2B): If you are a business customer with a valid EU VAT number registered in VIES, you may be eligible for reverse charge VAT (0% VAT). Please contact us at [email protected] for B2B invoicing.
Upon successful purchase of Digital Content, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Digital Content is delivered immediately upon payment confirmation. Access to Digital Content remains available through your account for as long as the content remains available on our platform.
Orders for Physical Goods are subject to availability. We will notify you by email if any item is unavailable.
Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method. Standard delivery within Denmark is 1-3 business days.
Risk of loss and title for Physical Goods pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
As a consumer in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from the purchase of Physical Goods within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason. The goods must be returned in their original condition.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the goods are defective or incorrect.
Due to the nature of digital products, Digital Content is generally non-refundable once downloaded or accessed. However, we may offer refunds at our discretion if:

All content on the KUOS Press platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, and software, is the property of Medilinka ApS or its content suppliers and is protected by Danish and international copyright laws.
Authors retain copyright to their original works published on the platform. By publishing on KUOS Press, authors grant us a license to distribute and display their content through our platform.
By submitting reviews, comments, or other content to the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to any content you submit and that such content does not violate the rights of any third party.
We reserve the right to remove any user content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be inappropriate, offensive, or in violation of these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Medilinka ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
